In accordance with the Dean's Directive No. 2/2019, the Faculty of Arts and Architecture will provide an academic staff member with a creative leave of a maximum of six months once every seven years upon their request, unless serious circumstances related to the fulfillment of the educational tasks of the university prevent this.

Creative leave may be provided for the purpose of further qualification growth of assistant professors and associate professors and to support publication activities significant for the scientific and educational development of the faculty.

For the purpose of providing creative leave, the Dean announces a selection procedure for one academic staff member, usually twice a year, in March for the following winter semester and in September for the following summer semester.

The application for the selection procedure (Application for Creative Leave) is submitted by the academic staff member to the Dean of the Faculty.
