KUM students Viktoria Maďarová and Šimon Talajka are participating in the international meeting of performance artists "Tomorrow Begins Today" in Poland.

“Tomorrow Begins Today” is a three-day event combining artistic presentations with interviews with the audience. Artists create in the gallery space, explore the possibilities of dialogue with the audience, and respond to the specificity and significance of the place.

In 2022, the Bielska BWA Gallery hosted the first edition of “Tomorrow Begins Today”, a meeting of artists and educators from art schools. Over the years, the project has developed into a recurring event that hosts artists from various academic centers and becomes a space for the exchange of experiences and confrontation of artistic approaches. Each edition brings new contrasts of creative personalities, working methods, and ways of responding to current social, political, and cultural problems. Each year, a performer is invited, accompanied by students they nominate. This year’s international meeting of performance artists brings together creators from art schools in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany.

The festival will open on October 28, 2025, with a lecture on performance and a screening of selected video performances. Lectures and live performances by invited artists will take place on October 29 and 30. Participants of the 4th International Performance Meetings – “Tomorrow Begins Today”:
