Our faculty is an active member of national and international organizations, including the international network within the Erasmus+ program, which allows us to remain at the forefront of the development of education, research and creation. These memberships also provide our students and staff with the opportunity to engage with the wider academic community, share knowledge and contribute to the development of their respective fields.
The faculty is open to any form of cooperation that is consistent with and contributes to our core mission: the development of education, research and the wider society. We believe that by working together we can create a more vibrant and impactful academic environment that will benefit all involved.
Internationalization
Internationalization is a cornerstone of the strategic vision of our faculty, as outlined in the University’s Strategic Plan. Our overarching goal is to strengthen the global presence and influence of the Technical University of Liberec (TUL). While our roots are firmly rooted in the Czech Republic, specifically in the northern region, our ambitions and reach extend far beyond our national borders. We strive to operate in an international context and constantly measure our progress against global standards.
The overarching document for our activities is the Internationalization Strategy of the Technical University of Liberec, approved by the Academic Senate in December 2014. It identifies three key priorities, outlines practical initiatives, and sets measurable indicators for monitoring the achievement of our goals. This strategy ensures that intercultural and global perspectives are integrated into various aspects of university life, from curriculum development to research projects and beyond.
Through these efforts, we strive to create an inclusive, globally minded academic community that prepares our students and staff to thrive in an interconnected world. By embracing internationalization, we not only broaden our horizons, but also contribute to the global exchange of ideas, knowledge, and innovation.
